Cookie Policy

Updated October 21, 2026

This page lists every cookie this site sets in your browser, what each one does, and how long it lasts. Two keep the site working. Two measure how people find it, and those follow your choice.

Your choice

Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page to see your current choice and change it. A change takes effect straight away.

  • In the EU, the UK, Switzerland, and Quebec, analytics stays off until you turn it on.
  • Everywhere else, analytics starts when you arrive, and one click on the notice turns it off.
  • Wherever you are, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a refusal.

Refusing analytics changes nothing else. The forms, the booking calendar, and every page work the same.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of text a website saves in your browser and reads back on your next visit. Browser storage, such as localStorage, does the same job without travelling with each request. This page calls both cookies, and lists both.

Necessary

These remember choices you made. They hold nothing about who you are, and the law lets us set them without asking.

Analytics

These show us which posts, emails, and pages bring people in, and where the forms lose them. With analytics on, we record:

  • the pages you open, and the page or link that brought you here
  • the campaign tags in that link, such as utm_source and utm_campaign
  • the links and buttons you click
  • which steps of the build menu and the booking calendar you reach
  • your country, region, and city, worked out from your IP address

We record that you filled a form field and never what you typed in it. What you type reaches us only when you press send. When you send a form or book a call, we connect your earlier visits to the email you gave us, so we can see how you found us.

tr_vid

What it does: A random ID that ties your visits together, so we can see which link first brought you here.

How long it lasts: 13 months

tr_sid

What it does: Groups the pages you open in one sitting into a single visit.

How long it lasts: 30 minutes after your last page

Advertising

This site runs no advertising cookies and no ad pixels, and we never sell or share your information for advertising. If that changes, this page changes first, and we ask for your choice again.

Your location

Our host, Vercel, reads your country, region, and city from your IP address on every request. We use them to show the currency and the meeting times that fit where you are, without saving anything in your browser. We store your location only alongside analytics, and only when analytics is on. We never store your IP address in our own records.

Links in our posts and emails

Links we share on LinkedIn, GitHub, Cal.com, blogs, and in email often pass through traction.it.com/go/. That address records the click and the campaign it belongs to, then sends you on to the page. A link in an email we sent you may carry a code that tells us which recipient clicked. We record the click either way; it connects to your later visits only when analytics is on.

How long we keep it, and where

Analytics records expire 13 months after we make them. We keep a record of each cookie choice for 3 years, so we can show what you agreed to. Both live in a database Supabase runs for us in Frankfurt, Germany.

Deleting it

Clear cookies and site data for traction.it.com in your browser to remove everything on this page from your device. To delete what we hold about you, write to contact@traction.it.com with the email you gave us. We delete it within 30 days.
